Lesson Policies and Procedures​

• Club Fee: Non-refundable; covers equipment use, facility amenities, and horse care.

• Safety & Eligibility: Maximum rider height is 6’2” and maximum weight is 200 lbs; final eligibility is at the Academy’s discretion.

• Unmounted Horsemanship Sessions and Care Days: Only hosted on Saturdays and not eligible for make-ups.

• Make-up Lessons: Scheduled based on availability and must be taken within the same month of the missed lesson.

• Tuition: Non-refundable and non-transferable.

• 30 Day Notice: A written notice of at least thirty (30) days is required to terminate enrollment. If less than 30 days' notice is provided, tuition for the following month will be charged in full.

• Required Attire: Riders must wear boots with a heel, riding pants (breeches), and an ASTM-approved equestrian helmet (no bike helmets).

• Personal Saddle: Students riding in the Gold Tier are required to have their own saddle for use (purchased within 30 days of the start of this lesson tier).

• Equipment Rental: Subject to availability, students may be required to rent necessary equipment for a fee in order to participate in their lesson.

• Arrival: Arrive at least 15 minutes before your lesson, dressed and ready to ride.

• Cancellation Policy: Minimum 24 hours’ notice required for cancellations or rescheduling; lessons cancelled with less notice are charged in full.

• Physical Limitations: Please inform staff of any physical restrictions that might affect your ability to ride.
